Certificate of completion

After you successfully complete the orientation, you will be able to download and print a certificate of completion. You must give a copy of your certificate of completion to at least one local language access coordinator for a Kansas district court.
Your name, email address, and confirmation that you successfully completed orientation will be given to the Office of Judicial Administration.

A certificate of completion is not Kansas court interpreter certification. The Kansas judicial branch does not currently offer court interpreter certification.

A certificate of completion does not guarantee you will receive interpretation assignments.
You are still required to have a judicial determination of interpreter qualifications, to take the interpreter's oath, and meet all other legal requirements for interpreters.
