District Magistrate Judge Kenton GleasonTOPEKA—Hodgeman County District Magistrate Judge Kenton Gleason was reappointed to the District Magistrate Judges Certification Committee.

Chief Justice Lawton R. Nuss of the Kansas Supreme Court appointed him to a four-year term ending June 30, 2021.

Gleason serves in the 24th Judicial District, which includes Edwards, Hodgeman, Lane, Ness, Pawnee, and Rush counties.

The committee, comprised of district magistrates, oversees the certification of magistrate judges. Magistrates who are not licensed attorneys must complete a certification program overseen by the Supreme Court.
